Reach Deep into Ducts and Vents with a Flexible 16-Inch Probe
The CEM DT-318 Flexible Thermo Anemometer combines air velocity and temperature measurement with a long, flexible gooseneck probe designed for HVAC, ventilation and environmental testing. The 16-inch probe allows the sensing point to be positioned inside ducts, vents and other locations that can be difficult to reach with a conventional handheld anemometer.
Air velocity can be measured up to 30 m/s and displayed in m/s, ft/min, km/h or knots, while the integrated K-Type temperature sensor measures from -10°C to +60°C.
16-Inch Flexible Gooseneck Probe
The defining feature of the DT-318 is its 16-inch flexible gooseneck probe. The probe can be positioned inside ventilation ducts, extraction systems, air-conditioning outlets and other restricted spaces while the instrument remains accessible to the operator.
Measure Air Velocity and Temperature Together
The DT-318 combines air velocity and air temperature measurement in one instrument, making it particularly useful for inspecting HVAC and ventilation systems where both air movement and temperature conditions need to be checked.
Air Velocity Measurement up to 30 m/s
Air velocity can be measured from 1.00 to 30.0 m/s. Alternative measurement units include ft/min, km/h and knots, allowing the instrument to be adapted to different ventilation and air movement applications.
K-Type Temperature Sensor
A K-Type temperature sensor provides air temperature measurement from -10°C to +60°C, allowing temperature conditions to be checked alongside air velocity during HVAC and ventilation inspections.
Designed for Hard-to-Reach Measurement Points
Conventional handheld anemometers can be difficult to position correctly inside narrow ducts and vents. The flexible probe design of the DT-318 allows the sensor to be extended and positioned at the required measurement point without placing the complete instrument inside the opening.
Data Hold for Easier Reading
The Data Hold function allows a measurement to be retained on the display after the probe has been removed from an awkward measurement position, making readings easier to review and record.
MAX Hold for Peak Measurements
MAX Hold allows the instrument to retain the maximum measured value, helping technicians identify peak air velocity during ventilation and airflow checks.
Built for HVAC and Ventilation Testing
The combination of a long flexible probe, air velocity measurement and temperature measurement makes the DT-318 particularly suitable for HVAC inspection, ventilation testing, air-conditioning systems, extraction systems and building maintenance.
