Measure Pressure Differences Across HVAC and Technical Systems

The CEM DT-8890 Differential Pressure Meter is a digital manometer designed for gauge and differential pressure measurements across a ±5 PSI range. It combines ±0.3% FSO accuracy with 11 selectable pressure units, making it suitable for HVAC, ventilation, pneumatic and general pressure measurement applications.

Two pressure inputs allow pressure differences between measurement points to be evaluated directly, while Zero and DIF functions, MAX/MIN/AVG recording and Data Hold provide additional flexibility for inspection, adjustment and troubleshooting work.

±5 PSI Differential and Gauge Pressure Range

The DT-8890 measures pressure across a ±5 PSI range, equivalent to approximately ±138.3 inH₂O, providing bidirectional measurement for both positive and negative pressure differences.

11 Selectable Pressure Units

Measurements can be displayed in 11 selectable units, allowing results to be viewed in the format required for different pressure and HVAC applications.

Zero and Differential Measurement Functions

The Zero Adjust function allows offset correction before measurement, while the DIF function provides a convenient way to evaluate pressure differences during testing.

MAX, MIN and AVG Recording

The DT-8890 can record maximum, minimum and average pressure readings. A relative time stamp provides a time reference for recorded MAX, MIN and AVG values.

Large Backlit Dual LCD

A large dual LCD with backlight improves readability when carrying out measurements in plant rooms, ductwork areas and other locations with limited lighting.

USB Connection for PC-Based Measurement

The built-in USB interface allows measurement data to be transferred to a compatible PC using the supplied interface cable and software, providing an additional option for viewing and recording pressure measurements.

Data Hold for Easier Reading

Data Hold freezes the current pressure reading on the display, making it easier to record a result when the instrument or measurement point is difficult to view continuously.
