Fast and Hygienic Core Temperature Checks

The TFA 30.1060 waterproof digital food thermometer, also known as the THERMO JACK GOURMET, is a professional folding probe thermometer designed for quick temperature checks in food and drinks. Its stainless steel penetration probe allows direct core temperature measurement, making it ideal for cooking, roasting, grilling, baking and other food preparation applications.

With a wide -40°C to +250°C measuring range, a response time of approximately 3–4 seconds and an accuracy of ±0.5°C between -20°C and +150°C, the thermometer combines fast measurement with practical features including an auto-rotating backlit display, HOLD, MIN/MAX and a stabilisation alert.

110mm Folding Penetration Probe

The integrated 110mm stainless steel probe unfolds when required for direct temperature measurement and folds back into the instrument for convenient storage. It can be inserted into food or immersed in suitable liquids and drinks for quick spot checks.

Fast 3–4 Second Temperature Measurement

The THERMO JACK GOURMET provides a temperature reading in approximately 3–4 seconds, making it particularly convenient when several food items need to be checked during cooking or preparation.

±0.5°C Accuracy Across the Key Food Temperature Range

The thermometer provides an accuracy of ±0.5°C from -20°C to +150°C, covering a wide range of common food preparation and cooking temperatures. Outside this range, the specified accuracy is ±1%.

Wide -40°C to +250°C Measuring Range

From chilled ingredients to hot food preparation, the wide -40°C to +250°C range supports a variety of applications. It can be used to check meat and roasts, BBQ food, sugar and chocolate preparations, jam, wine and other drinks.

IP65 Protection – Washable Under Running Water

The thermometer has an IP65-rated housing and can be washed under running water after use. This makes cleaning easier after direct contact temperature measurements in everyday kitchen and food preparation environments.

Antimicrobial Coating for Hygienic Use

An antimicrobial surface coating provides an additional hygiene-focused feature for an instrument designed for regular use around food.

Auto-Rotating Backlit Display

The illuminated digital display automatically rotates according to the orientation of the thermometer, allowing readings to be viewed comfortably by both right- and left-handed users. The backlight also improves visibility in poorly lit working areas.

HOLD, MIN/MAX and Stabilisation Alert

The HOLD function allows a measured value to remain on the display for convenient reading, while MIN/MAX functions provide access to recorded minimum and maximum temperatures. A stabilisation alert indicates when the measured temperature has settled.

Magnetic Attachment for Convenient Storage
