Check pH and Temperature with One Easy-to-Use Meter

The TFA 31.3001 PH CHECK Pocket pH Meter provides straightforward pH and temperature measurement for aqueous solutions. Its compact handheld design is suitable for applications including aquariums and ponds, drinking and heating water, swimming pools and general liquid testing.

The meter measures across the full 0 to 14.00 pH scale and also monitors temperatures from 0°C to 60°C. Automatic temperature compensation helps account for the effect of temperature on pH measurements.

Measure Across the Full 0 to 14 pH Scale

The PH CHECK provides pH measurement from 0 to 14.00 pH, covering acidic, neutral and alkaline aqueous solutions for a wide range of routine testing applications.

Automatic Temperature Compensation

Because pH values are temperature dependent, the integrated thermometer provides automatic temperature compensation (ATC) during measurement.

Measure Temperature from 0°C to 60°C

In addition to pH, the PH CHECK measures liquid temperature from 0°C to 60°C (32°F to 140°F), allowing sample temperature to be monitored with the same instrument.

Fixed Plastic Rod Electrode

The TFA 31.3001 is equipped with a permanently attached plastic rod electrode measuring Ø12 × 120 mm. This distinguishes it from the TFA 31.3002 PH CHECK G, which uses a glass rod electrode intended particularly for aggressive substances.

HOLD Function for Easier Reading

Pressing the HOLD button retains the current measured value on the display, making it easier to read or record the result after taking a measurement.

Calibration Function for Routine Maintenance

Regular calibration helps maintain correct operation of a pH meter. The PH CHECK incorporates a calibration function for routine adjustment using a suitable pH buffer solution.

IP65 Splash-Proof Housing

The meter is rated IP65 splash-proof and can be cleaned after use under running tap water or with distilled water according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Storage Solution Helps Protect the Electrode

A container with electrode storage solution is supplied with the meter. The electrode should be stored in this container when the instrument is not in use to help prevent the sensing element from drying out.
