Dual Laser Targeting

The dual laser targeting system provides a clear visual reference for the measurement area, helping the user position the infrared laser thermometer correctly when checking surface temperatures from a distance.

Quickly Identify Hot and Cold Areas

The DT-8665 is designed as an infrared temperature finder as well as a conventional non-contact thermometer. Audible temperature indication helps identify changing temperatures while scanning, making it easier to locate unusually hot or cold areas during inspection and troubleshooting.

Three-Colour Temperature Indication

The display uses green, red and blue visual indications to help distinguish normal, higher and lower temperature conditions. Combined with the audible indication, this makes temperature differences easier to recognise while scanning.

20:1 Distance-to-Spot Ratio

A 20:1 distance-to-spot ratio allows relatively small target areas to be measured from a practical working distance. For appropriate measurement results, the target area should always be larger than the infrared measurement spot.

With a response time of less than 150 milliseconds, the DT-8665 can respond rapidly to changing surface temperatures. This is particularly useful when scanning machinery, electrical equipment or HVAC systems for temperature variations.

High and Low Temperature Alerts
