Keep a Complete Temperature History from Storage to Delivery

The Elitech RC-5 temperature data logger is a reusable USB monitoring device designed to record temperature conditions throughout storage, transportation and cold chain operations. With capacity for up to 32,000 temperature readings, it provides a detailed record of environmental conditions for food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and other temperature-sensitive products.

A built-in NTC temperature sensor provides measurement from -30°C to +70°C, while the LCD display allows key information to be checked directly on the logger. Recorded data can be transferred to a Windows or macOS computer through the USB interface and managed using ElitechLog software.

32,000 Temperature Records

The RC-5 stores up to 32,000 temperature readings in its internal memory, providing twice the recording capacity of the RC-4 and supporting extended monitoring periods without frequent data downloads.

Temperature Measurement from -30°C to +70°C

The integrated NTC sensor provides a measuring range from -30°C to +70°C, making the logger suitable for refrigerated transport, cold storage, warehouses, laboratories and many ambient temperature monitoring applications.

Built-In Sensor with No External Probe Required

Temperature is measured using the RC-5’s internal NTC sensor. Unlike probe-based models, the standard RC-5 does not support an external temperature sensor, providing a compact all-in-one solution for ambient temperature recording.

Configurable High and Low Temperature Alarms

Upper and lower temperature limits can be configured according to the requirements of the monitored product or environment. Alarm information allows users to identify whether temperatures moved outside the configured limits during the monitoring period.

Check Key Information on the LCD Display

The integrated LCD provides convenient access to logger status and temperature information without requiring the device to be connected to a computer. MAX and MIN temperature values can also be reviewed directly on the logger.

Adjustable Recording Interval

The recording interval can be configured from 10 seconds to 24 hours, allowing the logger to be adapted to short-term detailed monitoring or longer storage and transportation applications.

USB Data Transfer with ElitechLog

The integrated USB interface provides a straightforward connection to a computer for configuration and data transfer. Using ElitechLog software, recorded measurements can be downloaded, reviewed, saved and exported for further analysis and documentation.

Reusable for Repeated Monitoring

The RC-5 is designed for multiple monitoring cycles. After recorded data has been saved or exported, the logger can be reconfigured using ElitechLog and used again for another monitoring period.

IP65 Protection

The RC-5 has an IP65-rated enclosure, providing protection against dust and water jets. This makes it suitable for many cold chain, warehouse and transport environments while avoiding claims that the logger is designed for immersion in water.

Replaceable CR2032 Battery

Power is supplied by a replaceable CR2032 battery, allowing the logger to continue being used across multiple monitoring cycles without replacing the complete device.
