Reusable Temperature Monitoring Across Multiple Trips

The LogTag TRIX-8 temperature data logger is a reusable multi-trip recorder designed to document temperature conditions during cold chain transport, storage and distribution. Its integrated temperature sensor measures from -40°C to +85°C, while internal memory stores up to 8,031 temperature readings.

Configurable upper and lower alarms combined with green OK and red ALERT indicators provide an immediate visual indication of monitoring status without requiring a computer. Recorded data can be downloaded and analysed using LogTag Analyzer through a compatible LogTag LTI-HID interface cradle.

Measure Temperature from -40°C to +85°C

The TRIX-8 provides a wide measurement range from -40°C to +85°C, covering frozen, refrigerated and ambient temperature monitoring applications across transport and storage.

Store Up to 8,031 Temperature Readings

Internal memory stores up to 8,031 readings. This provides approximately 53 days of recording at a 10-minute interval or approximately 80 days at a 15-minute interval.

Configurable High and Low Temperature Alarms

One upper and one lower temperature alarm can be configured according to the requirements of the monitored product or process. This allows temperature excursions to be identified against application-specific limits.

Check Alarm Status Without a Computer

Green OK and red ALERT indicators provide immediate visual status information. This allows users to identify whether an alarm condition has occurred without first downloading the recorded data.

Flexible Recording Intervals and Start Options

The sampling interval can be configured from 30 seconds to several hours. Recording can be started using the push button or programmed for a specific date and time, with an optional start delay of up to 18 hours.

Download a Full Logger in Less Than Five Seconds

LogTag specifies a typical download time of less than five seconds for a full 8,031-reading memory, depending on the computer or readout device being used.

Analyse Recorded Data with LogTag Analyzer

Recorded measurements can be downloaded and reviewed using LogTag Analyzer. The software provides tools for logger configuration, temperature charts, recorded data review and monitoring analysis.

LTI-HID Interface Required

The TRIX-8 does not incorporate a direct USB computer connection. A compatible LogTag LTI-HID interface cradle is required to configure the logger and download recorded data to a computer.

IP65 Protection for Transport and Storage

The TRIX-8 has an IP65-rated enclosure, providing protection against dust and water jets for use in demanding storage, distribution and transport environments. IP65 does not mean the logger is designed for continuous water immersion.

Designed for Multiple Monitoring Trips

Unlike single-use shipment indicators, the TRIX-8 is a multi-use logger designed to be configured and used across repeated monitoring cycles. LogTag specifies a fixed CR2450 lithium battery with a typical operating life of 2–3 years following up to one year of storage under the manufacturer’s stated operating conditions.
